I am working on a heritage scrapbook and trying to find out more about a great grand uncle, Joseph Alexander McIntire.

He married Susan Augusta Strawn in 1877 (Marion, IA) and by 1895 they were living in Fremont County.

He was the Postmaster according to the "Biographical History of Fremont and Mills County" and a music teacher as well. I do not know where he and his family resided in Sidney.

I am also looking to find any pictures of him or his family. No one in my family has any photos of him and I wonder if there might be any in regard to his postmaster position. Any help you may provide would be more than appreciated! I'm enjoying the Facebook page of Fremont County!
