OBITUARY

Edward F. O'Brien was born in New York City, June 5, 1874 and passed away at the home of his daughter in Shenandoah, Friday, Aug. 5. He came to Riverton at the age of five years and spent his boyhood here. He farmed in this vicinity for many years. He was married to Juliet Novinger in 1907 and to this union three children were born: Ora Belle (Mrs. Geo. Sullivan) of Shenandoah, Harold of Shenandoah and Eugene, who was killed in an auto accident near Denver in 1940. Mrs. O'Brien passed away in January, 1923. He is survived also by four grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at the Buntz Funeral Home in Shenandoah, Sunday, Aug. 6, conducted by Elder Morrell Cottew. Burial was in the Riverton cemetery.
