FORMER RESIDENT DIES

Alvin A. Prall, son of John and Eliza Prall, was born in Illinois, March 28, 1867 and passed away Wednesday, July 26, 1950, having reach the age of 83 years, 3 months and 28 days. He came to Iowa as a child and spent the remainder of his life here. He was a farmer in Fremont county during his entire active life.

He is survived by his wife Bertha Golden Prall, two daughters, Mrs. Gladys Simpson of Hamburg and Mrs. Ruth Brust of Nebraska City, one son, Chas. of Moberly, Missouri, and fourteen grandchildren. He is also survived by two sisters, Mrs. Emma McKissick and Mrs. Ida Stevens both of Hamburg, one brother, Roy Prall of Omaha.

Funeral services were held in Nebraska City Saturday, July 30, at 10 a.m., and the remains were brought to Hamburg for burial in the Hamburg cemetery.
