Obituary - Wilbur Beam, 89, died Sept. 9 at the Hamburg Hospital following an illness. He was a long ting resident here, a former businessman, and former Mayor. He managed an impliment shop here for many years. He is survived by his wife, Stella; daughter, Mrs. Mack (Ina) Allen of Nevada, Ia; two granddaughters, one grandson, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Funeral rites were Sunday, Sept. 7 at the Methodist Church at 2:30 p.m. with burial in a Riverton cemetery. Rev. Joseph Englund was in charge.
