THOMAS ORE FINNELL

Thomas Ore Finnell, son of Fountain and Martha Jane Finnell, was born in Atchison Co., Mo., April 19, 1890, and died at his home in Hamburg, March 9, 1957, at the age of 66 years, 10 months and 20 days.

Mr. Finnell was united in marriage to Jessie Hazlett, September 28, 1922, and to this union six daughters and one son was born. He spent his entire life in the Hamburg community and was engaged in farming as a career. He attended the Mt. Olive church and Sunday School in hi early years.

Mr. Finnell is survived by his wife, Jessie, one son, Thomas Charles Finnell of Hamburg, six daughters, Mrs. Lois Ellen Malone of Council Bluffs, Mrs. Margaret Alice Harmes of Hamburg, Mrs. Donna Jane Dimmitt of Torrence, Calif., Mrs. Betty Ruth Sjulin, Mrs. Dorothy Ann Fletcher and Mrs. Rose Marie Ware, all of Hamburg; two brothers, J. F. C. Finnell of Hamburg, and Simpson Finnell of Omaha; ten grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.

Rash Funeral Home was in charge of services which were held Tuesday, March 12, 1957 at 2 p.m. at the Methodist church with Rev. J. E. McClellan officiating. Interment at Mt. Zion cemetery.
