Hamburg, Iowa - Pfc. Larry Driskell of Hamburg was killed in Viet Nam on his 20th birthday, Aug. 11, his family has been informed.
A son, Darin Ray, was born to the Driskell's yesterday. Private Driskell enterded the service Dec. 6, 1965, and was sent overseas June 7. A graduate of Hamburg High School, he was married in December, 1965.
Besides his wife, Alexa Anne and infant son, Private Driskell is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Driskell, Riverton, Iowa, and a sister, Mrs. Daryl Davis, Foresthill, Cal.
Services will be held at the Church of Christ, Riverton, and burial will be in Mount Zion cemetery northeast of Hamburg. American Legion members will conduct graveside services. The body is at Rash Funeral Home, Hamburg.
