GRESHAM RITES

Services for John S. Gresham, 59, of Tecumseh, Nebr., will be held at 2 Friday in the chapel of the Johnson mortuary at Hamburg, Iowa. Interment will be held at the Mount Zion cemetery in Hamburg.

Mr. Gresham, a native of Huron, Kan., died Wednesday morning at the verterans hospital in Lincoln, Neb., 24 hours after suffering a stroke at his home as he was getting ready to go to work. He had been employed by the Brlington railroad in Tecumseh for ten years. Prior to going there he worked for the city at Hamburg. He was a veteran of World War II.

Word of Mr. Gresham's death was received by his siter, Mrs. Helen Edson, 5435 South 2nd Street, the wife of C. H. Edson. Mr. Gresham's mother, who lives with her daughter and son-in-law, is very ill. He came to St. Joseph a few weeks ago to see his mother, who was hospitalized at the time.

In addition to his mother and sister, survivors include two brothers, Joseph Gresham, St. Joseph, and Lloyd Gresham, Essex, Iowa, 14 nieces and nephews.
