Swen Christian Jensen, Jr.

Swen Christian Jensen Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Swen Jensen, was born May 19, 1938 at Watson, Missouri, where he spent the first six years of his life. At the age of six, he and his family moved to Iowa, where he lived until the time of his death, which occured at Glenwood, Iowa, March 12, 1950. He was 11 years old.

Little Swen, known as "Buddy" to his many friends, had been ill most of his life. Despite his illness he had a cheerful dispostion and was dearly loved by his relatives and friends.

He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Swen Jensen of Farragut; two sisters, Shirley and Sharon; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. N. P. Jensen of Shenandoah, and Mr. and Mrs. T. L. Brown of Mound City, Missouri; one great grandmother, Mrs. A. W. South of Chicago and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 14 at the Shull Funeral Home in Riverton, conducted by Rev. A. W. Tandy of Mason City, Iowa. Interment was made in the Riverton cemetery.
