I, James Miller of the county of Fremont and state of Iowa, being of sound mind and memory and understanding do make my last will and testament in manner and form following.

First, I direct that my debts be paid off of the proceeds of the farm and the stock.

Second, Having already given to my son Wallace Miller eighty acres, to my daughter, Hattie Reeves ninety eight acres, to my daughter, Mary Miller eighty acres and to daughter Melitia Miller eighty acres. I now give and bequeath to my wife Hannah Miller, the East half of North West quarter of Section Seven also the South West quarter of the North East quarter of Section Seven, all in Madison Township Fremont County Iowa Twp 67 Range 41 West containing one hundred and twenty acres more or less. I further state that all personal property over and above what is required for payment of debts shall be left on the farm for the use of my widow.

Lastly, I nominate and appoint as Executors of this my last will and testament, Hannah J. Miller and Wallace B. Miller and they shall not be required to give bonds as administrators, both of Fremont County Iowa.

I P. G. Cowles, Clerk of the District Court of and for the said county and state hereby certify that the foregoing will of James Miller was at the February term of the District Court 1889 was duly proved and entered for probate. 25th day of March 1889
