LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF CATHARINE HERSTINE

Be it remembered that I Catharine Herstine make this my last will. I give devise, bequeath my estate and property Real and Personal, as follows. That is to say; To my children Annie C. Newhall; Peter W. Herstine, and David G. Herstine, all the following described premises, situated in the County of Fremont and State of Iowa (to wit) Lot number thirty , _____2nd addition to Farragut and all the appertunances thereon belonging to be equally divided between the above named children. The omissions to give the child Kittie L. Miller anything is intentional.

In witness whereof, I have signed and sealed and published and declared this instrument as my Will, at Farragut on this
November 30th 1886. Signed......Catharine Herstine (seal)

The Said Catharine Herstine at said Farragut on said 30th day of November 1886, signed and sealed this, and we at her request and in her presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto written our names, as subscribing Witness:
J. Bilsland and A. R. Strickler......C. W. Robbins, Notary Public.

I, G. D. Batcheldor, Clerk of the District Court of the County and State aforesaid, do hereby Certify, that at the September term 1887, of said Court, on the 21st day of September 1887, the foregoing Will of Catharine Herstine, deceased, was duly proven, allowed and admitted to probate.

In Testimony Whereof, I have here unto subscribed my name and affixed the seal of said County at my office in Sidney in said County this 23rd day of December 1887......G. D. Batcheldor, Clerk of District Court.
