FREMONT COUNTY WILL
I, Mary E. Fletcher being of sound and disposing mind and memory, and being desirous to settle
my worldly affairs whilst I have strength and capacity, do make and publish this my last Will and
Testament, hereby revoking and making void all former wills by me at anytime heretofore made.1st I give and bequeath to my youngest son, Garland Baxter Anderson (born to me in wedlock with
Emmit McKolls, from whom I am now divorced, and which son I have given to Robert Anderson by
letters of adoption) my one fifth interest in and to 250 acres of land being situated in Atchison
county and State of Missouri and described as follows to-wit - the South West qr. of Section Thirty
one, Township No. 67, Range No. 42, and the North West qr. of the North West qr. of Section No 6,
in Township No. 66, Range 42, and the North West qr. of the South West qr. (except ten acres off
the North East corner heretofore sold) in Section No. 1 Townshp No. 66, Range 42, all in Atchison
county, state of Missouri.2nd I give all the personal property, after paying all of my just debts and funeral expenses, that I
may die seized of, to my children, Stella F. Fletcher, Moses R. Fletcher, Ruth E. Fletcher, Lena H.
Fletcher, to be equally divided among them, except two watches, my household and kitchen
furniture and piano, which is hereinafter disposed of.3rd I give and bequeath to my son, Moses Fletcher, my silver watch and chain and to Garland
Baxter Anderson my gold watch.4th It is my will and desire that all my household and kitchen furniture and my piano shall remain in
my house that I now live in, and the house situated on Lots Nos. 9 and 10 in Block No. 2 in
Hamburg, Iowa, in the possession of Robert Anderson, my father, until my youngest child shall
become of age for their home and for their use and benefit and for the home of my parents and my
children, and when my children shall all become of age, then all of said personal property shall be
equally among them and the real estate, to-wit, the house and lots shall revert back to the Howard
Fletcher estate or the heirs of said estate.5th I hereby appoint my father, Robert Anderson, as Executor of this my last Will, without bonds,
and as the Guardian of all my said children; and it is my desire that he keep them together at my
home in which I now live and hereinbefore described, without expense to him for rent or occupancy
to him.In witness whereof, I, Mary E. Fletcher have to this my last Will and Testament, set my hand this
the 22nd day of January 1880.Signed Mary E. Fletcher
Signed, sealed, published and declared by the above named Mary E. Fletcher, as and for her last
Will and Testament in the presence of us, who at her request and in her presence, have
subscribed our names as witnesses thereto, this the 22nd day of Jan. 1880.

May term 1880, of said county on the 26 day of May, 1880, the foregoing Will of Mary E. Fletcher,
deceased, was duly proven, allowed and admitted to probate. In testimony whereof I have herunto
set my hand and caused the seal of said court to be affixed at my office in Sidney this 27th day of
May 1880
