Looking for parents of Frank DeMar / Demarais

I am searching for information on the parents of Frank (or Franklin) DeMar, also known as Frank Xavier Demarais or Frank Xavier DeMar. He was born in 1830 and died October 25, 1919. He was buried in Hampton Cemetery, Franklin County, Iowa. His wife Mary Ann (Bovia) DeMar, who died May 15, 1906, is buried there as well.

Frank is my great grandfather. I have been searching for the names of his parents for the past year, however, none of the leads I had worked out. I was hoping some county or state record might show that information.

Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
