Meservey - Mrs. Kate Schmidt, who died at her home here Tuesday, was buried Friday. Funeral services were held at the Reformed church and burial was made in Alexander Cemetery.

Her husband preceded her in death several years ago. She is survived by two daughters at home, Gertrude and Bessie; a son, John of Thornton and a grandson.

Mrs. Schmidt had been ill and bedfast for two years.
