Latimer - Hans Roed, 74, pioneer resident of Latimer, who died at the Lutheran hospital in Hampton Saturday evening will be buried Tuesday. He had recently returned from a visit with a niece in Minneapolis and after being home a few days complained of not feeling well. When he was taken to the hospital he grew worse.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at the residence in Latimer followed by services at the Methodist church. Burial will be in the Alexander Cemetery.

He leaves two daughters: Mrs. Harold Nelson of Chicago and Mrs. Guy Simons of Latimer; three son: Clem Roed of Booneville, Indiana; Leo Roed of Chicago and Jens Roed of Latimer. His wife preceded him in death several years ago.
