Hamilton Bride Dead Week After Birth of Child
Mrs. Arlo Jensen, young Hamilton township bride, died at the Lutheran hospital at Hampton Sunday, Dec. 15 after a week's illness following the birth of a son. The baby was born Dec. 8 but died soon afterward.
Edna Paulsen, oldest daughter of Mr. & Mrs. George Paulsen, was born at Newell and was 24 years old. She moved to Hamilton township with her parents when a small child and had lived there ever since. After completing the course of study in the rural schools, she remained at home with parents except for short intervals of employment among her friends.
She was married to Arlo Jensen, Feb. 16, 1928, and they made their home on the Reeve farm.
She is survived by her husband, her parents, two brothers, Clearance and Elmer, and three sisters, Mabel, Elma and Esther.
Funeral services were held at St. John's Lutheran church in Hamilton township Wednesday, Dec. 18.
Burial was made in the church cemetery.
