Resident of Latimer 40 Years, Is Buried

LATIMER, March 25. Mrs. J. C. Christensen. a resident of Latimer for nearly 40 years, whose death occurred suddenly Tuesday morning following a serious operation at the Lutheran hospital, Hampton, was buried yesterday afternoon at the St. John’s church cemetery near Coulter.
Mrs. Christensen was born Oct. 11. 1859 in Denmark. She came to America with her parents when but seven years old. and the family settled at Alden. Minn. She then moved to Omaha and came to Latimer in 1869.
She and a sister, Nettie Jensen, operated the Jensen sister’s millinery shop for a number of years.
Her marriage took place to J. C. Christensen June 16. 1903.
She was preceded in death by her husband, who died a week less than a year ago. She is survived by one son. B. J. C. Christensen of Latimer, one sister, Mrs. Carrie Hendrickson of Kimball, Minn.
