Rites For Former Coulter Resident

Emma Christensen Passed Away On Sunday Coulter, Iowa. May 21---Mr. & Mrs. Fred Christensen and Mrs. C. B. Christensen visited Mrs. Emma Christensen at the Mercy hospital in Mason City. Saturday evening Miss C. G. Christensen stayed overnight with her and Mr. Christensen and children. Ronald and Christy Lu went up with her again Sunday.
Miss Christensen, former Coulter resident age fifty-six passed away from at 2:31 o’clock Sunday afternoon after being a long illness having a patient in the Mercy hospital the past three and a half weeks. She had been employed at Decker’s for the past ten or eleven years. Funeral services were held Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. at the Watnaby Funeral home in Sheffield and at St. John’s Lutheran church at 2:00 o’clock, with Rev. W. R. Garred officiating. Burial was made at the St. John’s cemetery.
She was a sister of Fred Christensen and Chris P. Christensen.
