Services For Mrs. J. Paulsen
Final rites were held last Saturday for Mrs. Jorgen Paulsen who died October 9th, at Hampton, after a lingering illness. The services were conducted at St. John’s Lutheran church by Rev. H. Juhl, pastor of that church. Burial was in the church cemetery.
The deceased was born in Denmark on October 7, 1881, and she came to America with her folks in 1885. The family located at Newell, Iowa, where she was married March 17, 1903 to Jorgen Paulsen.
After their marriage the couple moved to a farm near Hampton where she has lived since.
She was preceded in death by her husband and one daughter.
Surviving are five children, Clarence Paulsen, Elmer Paulsen, Miss Mabel Paulsen, Miss Esther Paulsen and Mrs. Harold Jorgensen, all of Hampton.
During her lifetime she was a loyal member of the St. John’s Lutheran church near Coulter
