Funeral Services This Afternoon For Mrs. Chris Nielsen

Last rites for Mrs. Chris Nielsen, of Hampton, will be held this afternoon, Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at the home in Hampton, and at 2:30 p.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church, with interment to be made at the St. John's church cemetery. Rev. Gudmund E. Petersen officiating.

Mrs. Chris Nielsen passed away at the Lutheran Hospital, in Hampton, early Saturday morning following a severe stroke and fall.

Mrs. Nielsen, whose maiden name was Anna Petrea Nielsine Jensen, was born March 22, 1882, in Hastev, Denmark. She was married on November 15, 1902, to Chris Nielsen, in Hastev, Denmark, and they emigrated to the United States in 1905 and since that time have resided in Franklin county.

In 1920 they moved to their present home in Hampton, which is better known as the old Harriman estate located at the west edge of Hampton.

Mrs. Nielsen's entire life was devoted to her beautiful home and family. Her values and goals were always that of life ideals.

In 1920 together with her family she made a visit to her native country. Mr. And Mrs. Nielsen had the pleasure of celebrating their golden anniversary together with their many friends in their home in 1952, which was a memorable event in the community.

She was a member of St. John's Lutheran church, east of Coulter.

She leaves to mourn her passing her husband, two daughters, Miss Petrea Nielsen and Miss Nielsine Nielsen, and two brothers, Lars C. Jensen, of Sheffield, and Jens Jensen, of Mannrup, Denmark
