Irvin Johnson Dies; Lifelong Resident Of Franklin County

Irvin C. Johnson, of rural Latimer, died Wednesday morning at Ellsworth Hospital in Iowa Falls after a two months illness. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at St. John's Lutheran Church with the Rev. Sedoris McCartney in charge, and burial was made in the church cemetery.

Mr. Johnson was a native of Franklin county and was born April 21, 1908 to Mr. and Mrs. Albert Johnson. He was a lifelong resident of the county, and engaged in farming.

On April 21, 1935 he was married to Ruby Wickham in Omaha, Nebraska.

Surviving are his wife, a son, Robert I. Johnson, of Latimer, a brother, Verner Johnson, of Downey, California, and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

The Green & Sietsema funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
