Hampton- Leo Jessen, 82, of Hampton, died Thursday (July 24, 1997) at the Hampton care Center.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. John's Lutheran Church, rural Hampton, with the Rev. Louise Stromberg officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, rural Hampton.

Visitation will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the Sietsema-Vogel Funeral Home, Hampton.
Leo Jessen was born Sept. 10, 1914, in Franklin County.

Survivors include his wife, Marie Jessen, Hampton.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister.
