Mrs. Hans Blom Passes Away

Funeral services for Mrs. Hans Blom, who died last Sunday, at the age of seventy-seven, at her home southwest of Hampton, were held yesterday at St. John's Danish Evangelical church of Hamilton township.

Rev. E.E. Hanson, pastor of the church, conducted the services and burial was made in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Blom came with her husband to Franklin County thirty years ago from Burlington, where they had resided since childhood. They settled on the farm in Hamilton township and have since made their home there. Mrs. Blom was in poor health for some time before her death.

The deceased is survived by her husband, Hans Blom, two daughters, Mrs. A.C. Christensen, of Chicago, Illinois; Mrs. F.E. Jensen, of Hampton and by four sons, Peter Blom and Andrew Blom, of Coulter; Harry Blom, of Alexander, and Clarence Blom, of Cresco.
