Mrs. Agnes J. Soland, 85, Hampton, died Saturday, Nov. 5, at Franklin General Hospital. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Nov. 9, at 10:30 a.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church, southwest of Hampton, with the Rev. Milton Eklund officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Sietsema-Vogel Funeral Home is in charge.

She was born Aug, 9, 1898 in Marion, Iowa, the daughter of Mr. And Mrs. Anton Simonson. She was a retired employee of the Maytag Co. Where she had worked 10 years.

Mrs. Soland is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Mona Rossitter of Bedford, Tex., and Mrs. Jerry (LaVonne) Youngblood of Wheatridge, Colo., two sons, Gordon of Clearmont, Fla. and dale of Madison, Ala., three sisters, Mrs. Addie Larsen of Coulter, Mrs. Eva Heilskov of Hampton and Mrs. Joeseph Nelson of Albert lea, Minn., two brothers, Niels Simonsen of Albert Lea, Minn., and Clarence Simonsen of Hampton, nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents.

She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church.
