Evelyn Margaret Jorgensen, 80, of Hampton, died of natural causes Wednesday, Feb. 14, 1996, at the Franklin General Hospital, Hampton.

Funeral services were held Friday, Feb. 16, at St. John's Lutheran Church, rural Hampton, with the Rev. A.E. Norson officiating. Burial was in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, rural Hampton. Sietsema-Vogel Funeral Home, Hampton, was in charge of arrangements.

She was born Jan. 19, 1916, in Chicago, Ill. The daughter of Paul Jensen Webster and Elsie Pedersen. She attended high school in Chicago, Ill., and attended grand view College in Des Moines.

On June 8, 1940, she married Folmer Jorgensen in Chicago, Ill. She was a homemaker; a member of St. John's Lutheran Church where she was active in the women's group; and a member of the Franklin General Hospital Auxiliary and a hospital volunteer for many years.

She is survived by her husband; Folmer, of Hampton; a son, Lloyd Jorgensen of Mesa, Ariz.; two daughters, Jane Vandre of Hilliard, Ohio, and Kaye Peters of Hampton; a sister, Ellen Rosenberger of Morton Grove, Ill.; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.
