Funeral services will be held today for Carrie Jorgensen.

Mrs. Carrie Jorgensen passed away Saturday at the Hampton Nursing Home where she had been a patient six and one half years. Funeral services will be held this afternoon, Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at St. John's Lutheran church with the Rev. David Larson officiating at the last rites. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The Vogel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

She was born Nov. 27, 1883 in Ribe, Denmark, the daughter of the late Mr. And Mrs. Hans Larsen.
She was married to Peter Jorgensen Feb. 25, 1909 in Franklin County. They farmed in Hardin county until 1918 when they moved into Hamilton township Franklin county where they farmed for 56 years.

Mrs. Jorgensen is survived by 3 sons James, of Hampton; Leo, of Iowa Falls and Harold, of Hampton, one sister Mrs. Anna Schmidt, of Copenhagen, Denmark, one brother Anton Larsen, of Rock Island, Ill.; six grandchildren and twelve great-grand-children. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband in 1960, three sisters and four brothers.

She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church.
