Funeral services for Antoni Jorgensen, 77, of Latimer were held from St. John's Lutheran Church near Hampton on Saturday, Sept. 8, 1979 at 2 P.M. with the Rev. Fred Ollendorf officiating.

Burial was in the church cemetery. The Willim Funeral Home was in charge.

Mr. Jorgensen died Wednesday, Sept. 5, 1979 at Franklin General Hospital in Hampton after a long illness.

He was born Oct. 16, 1901 in Denmark the son of Hans and Katrina Jorgensen and in 1927 came to the U.S. and resided in Minnesota.

In 1929 he moved to the Coulter area and on Dec. 31, 1937 he was united in marriage to Lillian Thorup at the Little Brown Church. After their marriage they farmed the Morgan township area and in 1961 retired and moved to Coulter. In June 1979 they moved to their present home in Latimer. He was a member of St. John's Church.

He is survived by his wife, Lillian and two grandsons Anthony and Bryan Herberg, both of St. Peter, Minn. He is also survived by one brother Nels and one sister Anna both of Denmark.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, one sister and a daughter Cynthia in 1972.
