Paul Heilskov Sr., 71, Hampton, passed away early Tuesday morning at Franklin General Hospital after an illness of eight weeks. Funeral services will be held this afternoon, Thursday, at 1:30 at St. John's Lutheran Church, southwest of Hampton.
The Rev. David Larseon will officiate at the last rites and interment will be in the church cemetery. The Green & Sietsema Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.He was born July 11, 1901 in Denmark, the son of the late Mr. And Mrs. Christensen Heilskov.
He came to America at an early age and on Feb. 22, 1934 was married to Eva Simonsen at Hayward, Minn. They engaged in farming in Franklin County until retiring in 1966.
Mr. Heilskov is survived by his wife, two daughters, Mrs. Robert Ahrens of Madison, Wis., Mrs. Charles Allison of Vinton, and two sons, Paul of Hampton and Kenneth of Altoona, one brother, Soren of Hampton; three sisters, Kristina Jacobsen, Karen Nielsen and Kristine Christensen, all residing in Denmark and 11 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister.
He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church.
