Jacob Anton Hansen passed away Monday, May 1, at the Franklin Nursing Home.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 3, at the Green & Sietsema Funeral Home, Hampton, with the Rev. Fred Ollendorf officiating at the last rites, Interment was in the St. John's Lutheran cemetery southwest of Hampton.

He was born Oct. 28, 1889, in Denmark, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Hans Peter Hansen. He was married to Elna Petersen May 16, 1910, in Canada and they had made their home in Franklin County since 1910 where they engaged in farming.

Mr. Hansen is survived by one son, Norman, of Hampton; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, one son and one brother.

He was affiliated with St. John's Lutheran Church.
