Ernest H. Hansen, Hampton, passed away Friday night at Mercy Hospital in Mason City.

Funeral services will be held this afternoon, Tuesday, at 1:30 p.m. at St. John's Lutheran church, southwest of Hampton, with the Rev. Fred Ollendorf officiating at last rites. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Green & Sietsema Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

He was born Jan. 4, 1907 in Denmark, the son of the late Mr. And Mrs. Peter Hansen.

He was married to Marie Nielsen Feb. 24, 1927, at St. John's Lutheran Church.

He was road maintainer operator for Franklin County until retiring in 1973.

Mr. Hansen is survived by his wife, two sons, Earl of Hampton, and Glenn of Cedar falls, two daughters, Mrs. Willard (Leona) Meyer of Coulter, and Mrs. Russell (Shirley) Jones of Newton; one sister, Mrs. Anna Erickson of Santa Maria, Calif.; and one brother, Frode Hansen of San Francisco, Calif. He is also survived by seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Mr. Hansen was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church.
