Erhardt A. Hansen of Buellton, California, former Franklin County resident, passed away Monday, July 29 at the hospital at Vandenburg U.S. Air Force base at Lompac, California.

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at St. John's Lutheran Church, southwest of Hampton. Rev. Sedoris McCartney officiated at the last rites and burial at the church cemetery. The Green & Sietsema funeral home was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Hansen had been a career man in the U.S. Armed Service and retired on August 31, 1967 after serving twenty years.

He was born September 20, 1925 in Franklin County, the son of Mrs. Anton Hansen and the late Mr. Anton Hansen.

He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Anton Hansen of Hampton; five sisters, Mrs. Edmund Petrick of Hopkins, Minnesota, Mrs. Einer Jensen of Hampton, Mrs. C.A. Nedegaard of Solvang, California, Mrs. Irving Shirley of Fort Meyers, Florida, and Mrs. Ernst Christensen of Southold, New York.

He was preceded in death by his father on June 13, 1968. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran church.
