ERICKSON

Last Thursday evening, April 14th, Paul Erickson died peacfully at his home. He was one of the old settlers of Franklin County and had resided on his farm three miles west of here until a year ago last spring when he engaged in the livery business in this place.

The entire family had been struggling with sickness for several months and towards the last Mr. Erickson himself was taken down, but recovered in a few weeks. Being eager to attend to business he began work before strong enough and had a relapse. Mr. Erikson would have been fifty years old May 1st.

He came to this country in 1873; lived in Michigan two years, after which he moved here, where he has since resided.

The mother and children have the profoundest sympathy of a large number of friends in their sore trial. Mrs. Erickson extends her most heartfelt thanks to the many friends who so kindly assisted them through their long siege of illness.
