Funeral services for Mrs. Anna S. Erickson of Coulter will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Sietsema-Vogel Funeral Home in Hampton. Erickson died in her home Friday. She was 83.

She was born Nov. 19, 1901 in Ringe, Fyn, Denmark, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Hansen. She married Arvid Erickson Nov. 28, 1929 in rural Hampton.

Erickson was a rural school teacher, and operated beauty parlors in Algona and Austin, Minn., and lived in California until moving back to Coulter in February, 1985.

Predeceased by her parents, and husband in 1972, Erickson is survived by a brother, Frode Hansen of San Francisco, Calif., and a sister-in-law, Mrs. Marie Hansen of Hampton.

Christian Scientist services for Erickson will be read by Mrs. Vern Lumley, with burial in St. John's Lutheran Church Cemetery southwest of Hampton. Friends may call at Sietsema-Vogel Funeral Home Tuesday after 1 p.m.
