Services for Mrs. Harriet Sophie Dorf, 86, Huntsville, Ala., formerly of Hampton, were held Monday July 15, at Sietsema-Vogel Funeral Home. The Rev. Thomas Hungerford officiated. Burial was in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, rural Hampton.

Mrs. Dorf died Thursday, July 11, 1991, at the home of her son in Huntsville.

She was born Jan. 28, 1905, in Hampton, to James and Laura (Pedersen) Johnson. She received her education in Hampton.

On Aug. 27, 1926 she married Axel Dorf in Hampton.

Survivors include a son, Harold Dorf, Huntsville; and one sister, Eva Paullus, Waukon.

She was preceded in death by her husband in July 1971.

Sietsema-Vogel Funeral Home, Hampton, was in charge of arrangements.
