Coulter Man Dies After Long Illness
Services For John Dixen To Be Held Today
Coulter, Iowa, Jan. 24, John Dixen died Monday morning at his farm home south of Coulter. He had been a sufferer from asthma for a number of years. Early Monday morning he was stricken with a heart attack which proved fatal. Mr. Dixen was fifty five years of age and had been engaged in farming most of his life. On account of failing health he held a recent closing out sale and was preparing to remove to New Mexico.

He was never married and leaves one sister, Miss Magdelina Dixen, residing with him. Two brothers, Jens Dixen, of Lindsey, Nebraska, and Hans Dixen, who resides in the state of Washington.

Services will be at St. John's Lutheran Church at 2:00 o'clock, Thursday afternoon, the local pastor, Rev. Strandskov officiating. Burial was made in the church cemetery near the church.
