Services for Sara Hansen, 88, Hampton, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, March 18, at St. John's Lutheran Church, rural Hampton.

Burial will be in the church cemetery. Rev. Tom Hungerford and Rev. Milton Eklund will officiate. Visitation is after 1 p.m. today (Thursday) at the Sietsema-Vogel Funeral Home, Hampton.

Mrs. Hansen died Tuesday, March 15, at her home.

Sara Kibsgaard Hansen was born July 3, 1899, in Greenland, Denmark, to Stephen and Sophia (Hansen) Kibsgaard. She was married to Nels Hansen on Feb. 26, 1920, at St. John's Lutheran Church.

She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and the American Legion Auxiliary.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Evelyn Sharp, Hampton; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Dagmar Olk, Hampton.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1980, seven brothers, three sisters, one son, and one grandchild.

Sietsma-Vogel Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
