Russel C. Hansen, 75, of Hampton, died Wednesday, Sept. 13, 1995, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, Minn.

Funeral services were Saturday, Sept. 16, at St John's Lutheran Church in rural Hampton, with the Rev. Joyce Guldager officiating. Burial was in St. John's Lutheran cemetery.

He was born Feb. 25, 1920, in rural Coulter, the son of Axel and Nanna (Petersen) Hansen. He married Irma Hansen March 18, 1941, in Coulter. He was a farmer and a member of St. John's Lutheran Church.

He is survived by his wife, Irma Hansen of Hampton, one daughter, Diane Seidelhuber of Seattle, Wash., two sons, Dallas Hansen of Hampton, and Delos Hansen of Bettendorf; nine grandchildren; and one sister, Norma Fisher of Independence.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
