Irma I. Andersen, 77, of Hampton, died of natural causes Monday, Feb. 5, 1996, at the Sheffield Care Center.

Funeral services will be held today, Feb. 8, at St. John's Lutheran Church, rural Hampton, with rev. A.E. Norson officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Hampton. Visitation was Wednesday, 3-7 p.m., at the Sietsema-Vogel Funeral Home, Hampton.

She was born Feb. 24, 1918, in Franklin County, the daughter of Nels Rasmussen and Ellen Pedersen.

She married Hilbur Andersen on May 2, 1938, at Manchester. She was a homemaker and a member of St. John's Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Karen (Mrs. Terry) Wheeler of Hampton, two sisters, Ramona Golden of Cleveland, Ohio, and Delta (Mrs. Marvin) McKee of Chapin; an uncle, Stanley Pedersen of Coulter; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son, a brother and a sister.
