Chapin - Funeral services were held Saturday for Mrs. Orin E. Gridley at her home with the Rev. H.H. Wintermeyer officiating. Burial was in the old Chapin Cemetery. The Wartnaby Funeral Home of Sheffield was in charge of arrangements.

Mary Clark Bonson was born March 14, 1872, and died at the Lutheran Hospital in Hampton Nov. 8. she suffered a stroke at her home on the preceding day.

Mrs. Gridley was born at Platteville, Wis., the daughter of Robert and Sarah Chapman Bronson. She was from a family of seven children, all of whom preceded her in death.

She was married to Orin E. Gridley July 12, 1913, and has lived her entire married life in Chapin. She is survived by her husband.

She was an active member of the Chapin Congregational Ladies Aid Society and also the old Chapin Cemetery Society.
