Many in this city who were friends of Mrs. J.H. Darrah of Hampton will be greatly shocked to hear of her sudden death, which occurred Tuesday night. The cause of her death was heart disease. Although Mrs. Darrah had always been delicate it was thought that she was in her usual health. She worked about the house Tuesday morning and accompanied her husband on an auto trip in the afternoon. Upon returning about 10:00 o'clock, she went to her room to retire for the night. She had hardly entered her room when she fell to the floor. Her husband found her soon after in an unconscious state. A physician was summoned but before he arrived Mrs. Darrah had passed away.

Mrs. Darrah is survived by her husband and six children. She also leaves many friends who are deeply grieved over her death.
