Hampton, Ia. - Theodore Autry, age 64 years, was trampled to death by a bull in the Reede pasture, north of Hampton, Friday. His body was found in Spring creek about 10 p.m. by men who started search for him when his nonappearance for the evening meal caused apprehension.

There was a wound to the heart, which is believed to have caused death before he was tossed into the water. The ground around the place where the body was found was trampled. No inquest will be conducted, the coroner said after investigating. Autry went from his home about 8 a.m. Friday, taking lunch with him.

His wife died about two years ago. He is survived by his father, George Autry, three brothers, Lloyd, Louis and Fred Autry; a sister, Mrs. Ella Mosher, all of Hampton, and a sister-in-law, Mrs. James Autrey, Waterloo.
