Mrs. Helen Fitz Dies; Last Rites Will Be Wednesday

Mrs. Helen Fitz, of Hampton, passed away Monday morning at the Franklin General Hospital, in Hampton, where she had been a patient for some time. Funeral services will be held tomorrow morning, Wednesday, at 10:30 o'clock at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, in Hampton, with Rev. W.W. Schmidt officiating. Burial will be in the Hampton Cemetery. The Vogel funeral home is in charge of arrangements. The rosary will be recited at the Vogel funeral home at 7:30 o'clock tonight, Tuesday.

She was born December 6, 1892, at Oxford, Iowa, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. F.J. Floerchinger. She was graduated from the Mercy Hospital School of Nursing, in Iowa City, in 1926.

On February 20, 1939, she was married to Charles Fitz in Waterloo. In 1957 they moved to Hampton to make their home. Mr. Fitz passed away in 1960

She is survived by one sister, Mrs. George Weiss, of Greene, and a step-daughter, Mrs. Claire Early, of Ackley. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceeded in death by eight brothers and sisters.

Mrs. Fitz was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, in Hampton.
