Lockwood (Pete) Schulz, age fifty-one, died suddenly at his home southeast of Sheffield, Sunday, September 2nd, from an attack of coronary occlusion.
Mr. Schulz had been in good health until Sunday when he complained of a pain in his chest. His wife and son, Ronald Schulz, were taking care of the evening chores and when they returned to the house they found him dead.
Funeral services will be held today, Thursday, September 6th, at 1:15 o'clock p.m., at the house, and 2:00 o'clock at the Zion St. John Lutheran church, in Sheffield.
Mr. Schulz was born April 18, 1900, on a farm in West Fork township where he lived all his life. He attended school in West Fork township and was active in many community affairs.
He was married to Miss Lorena Wearda on January 8, 1924, at the Lutheran parsonage, at Rockwell.
He is survived by his wife and two sons, Gerald Schulz, who is serving in the Marine Corps, and Ronald Schulz, at home; one brother, John Schulz, of Hansell; four sisters, Mrs. Kate Simpson of Napervile, Illinois; Mrs. Arnold Baker of Mason City, Mrs. Leonard Farber, and Mrs. Floyd Huntington, of Sheffield.
