Chapin, Jan. 5 - Funeral services for Mrs. Jacob Heuberger, pioneer local resident who died Tuesday, will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Congregational church.
The Rev. Alec Rusell will officiate and burial will be in the Chapin Wayside cemetery.
Mrs. Heuberger was born in Botzen, Switzerland, Dec. 14, 1858. She came to America with her parents when 8 years of age and settled in Scales Mound, Ill. She was married to Jacob Heuberger Oct. 28, 1888, and moved to Chapin the same year.
She joined the Congregational church Oct. 4, 1891. She was preceded in death by her husband and one daughter.
Surviving are one daughter, Bertha Heuberger, and three sons, Harry H., Louis F., and Charles J., and nine grandchildren, all of Chapin; and one brother, Jacob Gerber of Scales Mound, Ill.
