Mrs. W. W. French Is Buried at Hampton; Was Former Resident
HAMPTON, March 24.-- Funeral services were held here today for Mrs. W. W. French, who died at the home of her son, Louis French, at Harlan, Sunday, Mrs. French was formerly Martha Hunt, and she was born here Feb. 7, 1856. She had resided in Hampton all of her life until the death of her husband several years ago since which time she has made her home at Harlan.
She is survived by four children, Mrs. Edna Boots, Ft. Dodge, Mrs. Gail Thornton, Grand Island, Nebr., Mrs. Grace Rickabaugh, Omaha, Nebr., and Louis French, Harlan, three sisters, Mrs. Lavina Whipple, Mason City, Mrs. Frances Morehouse, Sheffield and Mrs. N. L. Salsbury, Hampton and three brothers, Bert and Grant Hunt, Hampton and Arthur Hunt, Cedar Rapids.
The body was brot (sic) to Hampton Monday night and funeral services were held at the Methodist church at 2 o'clock today conducted by the Rev. J. Arthur Young. Burial was made in the Hampton cemetery.
