Harold L. Krukow died Thursday evening at Franklin General Hospital. Services were held Monday at 10:30 a.m. at Sietsema-Vogel Funeral Home. Burial was at Hampton Cemetery with rite conducted by Rev. Richard Nissen.

Krukow was born January 11, 1917 in West Fork Township of Franklin County, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Krukow. He married Mildred Varrelman on January 27, 1937. He farmed most of his life and was a member of the West Fork United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife; two sons, Robert and Ronald, both of Dows; five half-brothers, Don, Dumont; Kenneth, Waterloo; Harley, Hansell; Carl, Clear Lake and Frank, Hampton; and two half-sisters, Arlene Thompson, Bradford and Lolo Leer, Missouri. He is also survived by four grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were his parents and one sister.
