HELEN E. KRUKOW

Services for Helen E. Krukow, 82, Hampton, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 13, at Westfork United Methodist Church, rural Sheffield. The Rev. Ed Clevenger will officiate. Burial will be in Westfork Cemetery.

Mrs. Krukow died Sunday, Feb. 9, 1992, at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, Mason City.

She was born March 11, 1909, in rural Owasa, to Samuel and Delilah (Verbeck) Huffman. She attended Owasa High School.

On Nov. 13, 1927, she married Fred H. Krukow at Nashua. They lived in rural Aredale until moving to Hampton in 1974.

Mrs. Krukow was a member of the Westfork United Methodist Church.

Survivors include one daughter, Lola Leer, Sturgis, S.D.; five sons, Kenneth, Eldora; Donald, Dumont; Carl and Harley, both of Hampton; and Frank, Sheffield; one brother, Darrel Huffman, New Hartford; 30 grandchildren; and 48 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, one daughter, five sisters and two brothers.

Sietsema-Vogel Funeral Home, Hampton, is in charge of arrangements.
