Chapin, Mary 16 - Miss Emma Long, 83, died at her home at Alva, Okla., Sunday, after an illness lasting for about three years, accoding to word received here. Miss Long was born in England and when about 18 years old came to this country and was a residence [sic] of this vicinity for more than 20 years, later moving to Kansas City, and then to her late home in Oklahoma. She is survived by two sisters of Alva, and one brother, H.T. Long, of this place. The body was brot [sic] here Tuesday evening and burial took place this forenoon in the Old Chapin cemetery.
