James H. Chate

ROCKFORD, IOWA - James Henry Chate, 84, died Saturday at a Rockwell nursing home.

Born in Brighton, England, July 2, 1880, he was married to Margaret McIlvennie in England.
They came to Rockford in 1911. She died in 1962.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Harry Geoser, two grandchildren, sister and brother in England.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at the Weaver-Wilcox Funeral Home.

The Rev. Leon Wallace will officiate.

Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
