Arthur Allen Hain

Arthur Allen Hain, third in a family of nine born to George and Sarah (Allen) Hain, was born Dec. 19, 1872, in Rochelle, Illinois. When he was about 7 years of age, the family came to Iowa, settling in Rockford Township, Floyd County.

After he grew to manhood, Mr. Hain went to Minnesota to live, being occupied with a number of interests. He returned to Rockford last January, planning to continue his home here. Last Thursday a sudden frenzy took him.

He leaves to mourn his going the following sisters and brothers: Mrs. George McElroy, Mrs. Jay Squier, Clarence Hain and Mrs. Clyde Crowell all of Rockford; Mrs. C.V. Crowell, Gary, Indiana; and a brother John Hain, Sears, California. One brother and one sister preceded him in death.
