RUDD - Clarence E. Marker, 88, rural Rudd, died Tuesday (Jan. 6, 1981) at home.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Schumburg Funeral Home, Rockford, with Pastor Alfred Clark of Rudd Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Rockford.

Visitation will be until noon Thursday at the funeral home.

A farmer, Mr. Marker was born Oct. 20, 1892 in Floyd County. He married Mabel Morris on June 16, 1915 in Cerro Gordo County.

He is survived by his wife, Mabel; two daughters, Mrs. Charles (Virginia) Foland, Forest City, and Mrs. Leonard (Marilyn) Steffen, Charles City; three sons, Harold, Kingman, Ariz.; Bruce, Santa Monica, Calif.; and Roger, Kirkland, Wash.; 14 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, and one brother, John, Rockford.
